Characters

Throughout his journey, Cecil will meet a large variety of characters.  Each of the characters he meets that join the party contribute a different set of abilities and skills.  Certain skills are only obtainable in the Japanese Hard-type version of FFIV and these skills will be marked in light blue on the character profiles.

Each profile contains a list of abilities the character has, as well the equipment available to that character and the spells, if applicable, the character can learn.

And now, presenting the cast of characters:

Cecil, a Dark Knight who seeks justice and redemption

Kain, a Dragon Knight who strives for high goals

Rydia, a Caller who has lost her family

Tellah, a Sage who wishes to avenge his daughter

Edward, a Bard who mourns his lost love

Rosa, a White Wizard who wants to stay with her love

Yang, a Karate Master who desires to protect his homeland

Palom, a Black Wizard with an attitude

Porom, a White Wizard who wishes her brother were just a bit more mature

Cecil, a Paladin born to serve the Light

Cid, an Engineer willing to perform above and beyond the call of duty

Edge, a Ninja seeking vengeance for his parents and his homeland
